We have seen many groups process placements as adoptions because the cat actually is going into the care of a specific person; this is sometimes preferable to a feral/wildlife release outcome that isn't associated with a specific person.

If you do prefer to have it show up as a feral/wildlife release outcome on your reporting, then we recommend making a memo on the animal record with the info of the person who will be caring for the cat.
