Splitting payments is not currently possible with Shelterpay, but you can use any of the non-Shelterpay payment options to record the split payment transaction.

If you need to run part of the transaction through Shelterpay, apply a discount on the Shelterpay transaction for the amount that will be covered by another payment type. After completing the transaction, you will then return to the person's record to run a separate transaction for the other payment type.

Process the Split Payment

Once you have the needed items in your shopping cart, follow these steps to split payments for non-Shelterpay transactions:

1. Click Change under the Payment and Delivery Method section and choose Other Methods.
2. Choose the first method for the split payment, enter the amount received, and click the green Record Payment button.
3. Click the Add Payment Method button and choose your second payment method.
4. Enter the amount received, and click the green Record Payment button.
5. Continue to repeat this process as needed, and once all payment methods are added, finalize your checkout as you normally would.
