Shelterluv makes it easy to process a service outcome to a person or partner record. All service outcomes will start from the person or partner rather than the animal.

To get started, navigate to the person or partner that the animal is associated with.

This article is broken up into two sections: service outcomes to a person and service outcomes to a partner. The process of completing an outcome to a person or a partner is different, so it is important to review each section thoroughly.

Process the Outcome to a Person

You can process a service outcome for animals in your custody.

Follow these steps to process a service outcome to a person record:

1. On the person record, click the Add Animal Event button and choose Service Out.
2. If the person record has associated animals currently in your custody, you will have the option to outcome those, or you can click the Outcome Other Animal(s) button.
3. Check the box on the left of each animal you need to outcome and click the green Service Out button.
4. Complete your configured service outcome form and click the green Complete Outcome button.

At this point, the outcome is complete. If you have the checkout turned on for your service outcome form, you will be taken to your shopping cart manager so you can add the needed charge and send the checkout to the person in order to get the fee paid.

Process the Outcome to a Partner

Processing a service outcome is the same regardless of whether or not the partner is a Shelterluv customer.

You will know if your partner also uses Shelterluv by the gold SL icon in front of their name. Follow these steps to process a service outcome to a partner:

1. On the partner's profile, click the Service tab, then the Service Out tab.
2. Click the green New Service Out button.
3. Check the box next to each animal that needs to be serviced out and click the green Service Out button.
4. Complete your configured service outcome form and click the green Complete Outcome button.
