What do I need to configure before I intake or outcome an animal?

Use the Unknown Person record or create a new person for testing.

Before you complete practice outcomes, ensure you understand how to delete outcome events to place animals back into your care. You can find details here - How to Delete an Intake, Outcome, Foster, or Custody Transfer Event.
All practice adoption outcomes should be deleted using Record Management before the end of the current month so that they are not included in automated billing.
Onboarding
If your organization is onboarding and is scheduled to import your current inventory, we can wipe your practice data for you; this wipe includes all animal, people, and transaction records. Your configurations and user accounts will remain intact.
