How to Set Up, Edit, or Delete a Linked Shelterpay Device

If you are setting up a device that will be used by all your customers, remember to turn off the browser setting that prompts users to save their credit card information!

Shelterluv gives you many different options to complete your Shelterpay checkout to suit you and your customers' needs.

The Send to linked device feature allows you to send a Shelterpay checkout directly to a dedicated, linked device, such as a kiosk or tablet that you may have in front of your adoption desk.

Click your Username > Shelterpay Dashboard to get started.

How to link a device

Clearing your linked device's cookies will log the linked device out. You will need to delete and re-link the device. Also, please keep in mind that the link will not work in incognito or private mode.

Bookmarking your linked device URL


Once you have your linked device set up, it is important to bookmark or save kiosk.shelterluv.com on the linked device's browser. This link will always bring you back to the webpage your device needs to be on to receive the next Shelterpay checkout.

On Apple devices, you have the option to add a web link to your app screen via Safari. On Chrome, you can set your default home page when you open the browser to be the new URL.
