Intakes, Outcomes & Transactions

Shelterluv is human-centric! This means all intake events (adding new animals) and outcome events (such as an adoption transaction) start from a person or partner record, by selecting the appropriate intake or outcome type.

While the steps to process each intake and outcome are similar, they are all unique in their own way. Because of this, it is important to read the article or watch the video for each intake and outcome. You can find each section here:

Most of your intakes and outcomes can have a transaction associated with it if you wish. These transactions will be processed through Shelterpay and come packed with many different donation and Best For Pets features that you can learn more about below:

Quick reports are Shelterluv's standard, prebuilt reports that you can easily run without any report building. Once run, quick reports can be filtered, but they cannot be edited or customized.

Custom reports give you complete control and full customization over the data you need to report on. With intelligent rules and dozens of reportable columns, you're able to get the data you need quickly.
