How to Configure Your Application Email Templates

Shelterluv helps you speed up your communication with your applicants through automatic emails that you can set up!

Your adoption, foster, owner surrender, and custom applications can each have three automatic email templates:

  1. Received
  2. Accepted
  3. Denied

You will also notice that these three templates are available for each species you have turned on in your animal population configurations. This means you can set up different email templates for each species within each application type.

Click your Username > Configuration > Applications > Application Email Templates to get started.

Configure a Template

Once you expand the Applications configuration section, you'll see sections for each application type. Expand the section you want to make an email template for, then choose the email type from the dropdown menu.

You will have three options per species. For example, if you work with cats and dogs, and want to configure your adoption application email templates, you will have three email templates for your dog adoption applications (Received, Accepted, & Denied) and three for your cat adoption applications.
