You can complete a DOA intake using any one of Shelterluv's intake types. DOA intakes are controlled by the intake subtype that a user chooses on the intake form.

What do I need to configure before I process a DOA intake?
You can configure your subtypes to be DOA subtypes by changing the Live Intake setting to No (DOA).
Any animal that is intaken with a subtype configured as No (DOA) will automatically be outcomed for you upon intake. These outcomes will always be included in the Custom Events Outcomes Not Counting Towards Live Outcome Report.
In order to prevent a mismatch of events from occurring, you will want to be sure that any intake subtypes configured as No (DOA) are also configured to No in the Count towards Intake Numbers setting.
Now that your subtypes are set up, all your staff needs to do is choose the appropriate DOA intake subtype on the intake form. We highly recommend making the intake subtype field mandatory on your intake forms to ensure your team does not make any mistakes.
