Marking an animal lost or stolen is a simple and quick process, thanks to Record Management.
Click your Username > Record Management to get started.

Before you get started, please keep in mind that only animals currently in your care can be marked as lost/stolen. If the animal is already outcomed, you cannot mark it as lost/stolen.
Process the Lost/Stolen Outcome
Once you are in Record Management, follow these steps to mark an animal as lost/stolen:
- Search for the animal in the Record Management search bar.
- Click the three dots on the far right, and choose Mark Lost/Stolen from the dropdown menu.
- Enter the date, outcome subtype, and an optional outcome memo, then click the green Mark Lost/Stolen button.
Once the lost/stolen outcome is processed, the animal's status and location will automatically update:
