In Configuration, you can add new Physical Exam templates, as well as edit the default templates ("Normal" and "Not Examined"). 

In each template, you can set default responses to different fields such as mucus membranes and body systems (EENT, heart, abdomen, etc.). 

These templates can then be used as a starting place when you add a new physical exam. 

You can create new templates for common situations, such as "brief tech exam," and only fill out the fields that are used.

Other useful templates may include "Normal puppy exam" or "Post-surgical recheck".

Your medical staff may also prefer to have their own exam templates for accuracy and completeness of the medical record. For example, each doctor can create their own set of templates for use.
