Overview
Your intake and outcome forms are configured in the exact same way. The example below uses an intake form, but the same process can be applied to your outcome forms.
Visible and Required Toggles
Use the Visible toggle on the right-hand side of the field's name to show or hide that specific field on your form. We highly recommend hiding all fields on your forms that your organization will not use. This will make the form shorter and easier to fill out for your staff.
Use the Required toggle on the right-hand side of the field's name to make the field mandatory or optional. The toggle should be turned on for all fields that you do not want your staff to skip (like the subtype field, for example). Leave this toggle off for fields that your staff may or may not have the information for at the time of intake, such as the weight or photos fields.
Reorder Your Fields
Use the double lines on the left-hand side of the field's name to reorder your forms to meet your needs. If your staff is used to getting information in a certain order during an intake or outcome, you can rearrange your form to match that order so your staff can fill out the form in a way that makes sense for them.
Special Fields to Note
The Current Status field on your intake forms will have an additional option to set a default status. Use this setting if the majority of your animals for a specific intake type always have the same status assigned to them (Stray Hold for stray intakes, for example).
Your stray, owner surrender, adoption return, and service intake forms will have the Workflow Settings section at the bottom of the form. Use this section to hide or show a contract and a checkout. Make sure these fields are turned off for intakes that you do not charge or collect a contract signature for.
