How to Filter and Sort Your Animal Dashboard

Shelterluv makes it easy to quickly find the animal records you need using the pre-built filters and the sorting functionality. For example, if you wanted to generate a list of dogs that are housetrained, you could apply an attribute filter to only show animal records that have the "Housetrained" attribute along with a species filter. Then, if needed, you can sort the results alphabetically by breed.

Go to the home page in your Shelterluv account to get started.

Use Case Example

You can use the filters on the in-custody view dashboard during daily population rounds. Instead of printing a report of animals in your care and their current locations to carry with you, you can use a tablet to filter the in-custody view by campus and location. This will show you all animals who are currently in a specific location so you can quickly confirm their details are up to date.

Using Edit Multiple, you can quickly add memos, request tech or vet checks, behavior checks, update animal status, and more, to record notes or generate tasks for animals as you complete your population rounds.

When you move to the next location, update your filter as needed.

You will no longer need to waste paper and write notes down as you complete your rounds, which will need to be recorded in your software later. Notes and tasks are completed or scheduled as rounds are being completed, in real-time by combining our dashboard filters and Edit Multiple features.
