How to Configure Your Euthanasia Reasons

Euthanasia reasons should be configured so they are easy for staff to understand. Up to two euthanasia reasons can be selected when processing a euthanasia outcome, depending on how your outcome form is configured.

It is important to note that a euthanasia reason is different from a euthanasia subtype. Euthanasia reasons allow for more granular and specific reporting. For example, you may have a euthanasia subtype of "Owner Requested" and euthanasia reasons of "Geriatric with poor quality of life" or "Terminal Illness".

Click your Username > Medical > Euthanasia > Euthanasia Reasons to get started.
