You can configure behavior assessments for each species that you work with. Additionally, you have the option to create a disclaimer to add to the Behavior Assessments Document.
Click your Username > Behavioral and Categories > Behavior Assessments to get started.
What user permissions do I need to configure behavior assessments?
- Configure my shelter and its users
Configuration is only accessible through a desktop or laptop. You cannot access the Configuration section on a mobile device.
How to Add a New Behavior Assessment
Follow these steps to configure a new behavior assessment:
- From the Behavioral Assessments configuration subsection, click a species followed by the green Add Assessment button.
- Enter the new behavior assessment's name and click the green Add Assessment button.
- Click the Add Evaluation Item button, enter a name, and click the green Add Item button.
- Click the Add Score button, enter a name, and click the green checkmark button.
How to Edit and Delete a Behavior Assessment

Follow these steps to edit a behavior assessment:
- From the Behavioral Assessments configuration subsection, click the Behavior Assessment button and choose an assessment from the dropdown menu.
- Click directly on the underlined name or score, make your adjustments, and click the green checkmark button.

Use the double lines on the left-hand side of the evaluation item's name to reorder the assessment.

Follow these steps to delete a behavior assessment:
- From the Behavioral Assessments configuration subsection, click the Behavior Assessment button and choose an assessment from the dropdown menu.
- Click the trashcan next to the behavior assessment's name.

Check the Yes, I want to delete this behavior assessment box, read the warning, and click the red Delete button.
Warning
You cannot recover behavior assessments that you delete.
Behavior Assessment Disclaimer
You can configure your behavior assessment disclaimer that appears on the system-generated Behavior Assessment Document in the animal record's files.
Click directly on the underlined disclaimer text to update it to meet your organization's needs. You also have the option to choose if the disclaimer appears at the top or bottom of the document (shown below).
