Shelterluv allows you to configure as many reasons for cause of death as you need to help you accurately track and report on this sensitive data. Only one reason can be selected when processing the outcome, so these reasons should be mutually exclusive.

Click your Username > Configuration > Medical > Unassisted Death in Custody to get started.

Configuration is only accessible through a desktop or laptop. You cannot access the Configuration section on a mobile device.

How to Add a New Cause of Death

To add a new cause of death, follow these steps:

1. Click the Add Cause button at the bottom of the Unassisted Death in Custody configuration section.
2. Enter the name of the cause of death and click the green checkmark button to save.

How to Edit and Delete a Cause of Death

• To edit the cause of death's name, follow these steps:

  • Click directly on the underlined name.

  • Make the needed adjustments and click the green checkmark button to save.

  

• To delete a surgery, follow these steps:

  • Click the trashcan on the right-hand side of the surgery.

  • Read the warning and click the red Delete button.

  You cannot recover a cause of death that you deleted.
