Click your Username > Configuration > Medical > Physical Exams to get started.
What user permissions do I need to configure physical exams?

Configuration is only accessible through a desktop or laptop. You cannot access the Configuration section on a mobile device.

Physical Exam Reasons and Types

You can add reasons for vet and tech exams, which staff can select when scheduling and completing physical exams (e.g., Needs Intake Exam or Recheck URI).
Follow these steps to add a new exam reason:

Click the Physical Exam Reasons section, followed by either the Add Vet Exam Reason or the Add Tech Exam Reason button.

Give the exam reason a name and click the green checkmark button to save.
You can edit the reason's name by clicking on the name or delete the reason by clicking the trashcan icon on the right-hand side of the appropriate reason.
Warning
You cannot recover the physical exam reasons that you delete. -

You can add physical exam types that will display as the title for the exam on the animal's record (e.g., Complete Vet Exam or Brief Vet Exam).
Follow these steps to add a new exam type:

Click the Physical Exam Types section, followed by the Add Exam Type button.

Give the exam type a name and click the green checkmark button to save.
You can edit the type's name by clicking on the name or delete the type by clicking the trashcan icon on the right-hand side of the appropriate type.
Warning
You cannot recover the physical exam types that you delete. -
Quick Fill Templates
You can create a Quick Fill Template for each physical exam type. This template will auto-fill the standard information you would otherwise have to type out with each new exam (the subjective and objective, for example).
