Daily observations help you record details for things like appetite, stool, urination, vomiting, coughing, and more.

A vet or tech exam can also be scheduled while completing the daily observation form.

What user permissions do I need to record a daily observation?

• Add medical data to animal records

Configuration is only accessible through a desktop or laptop. You cannot access the Configuration section on a mobile device.

How to Record a Daily Observation

Follow these steps to record a daily observation:

• From the animal record, select the Medical > Daily Observations tab.

• Click the green Complete Daily Observation button and record the observation, as shown below.

• [Optional] Schedule a vet or tech exam at the bottom of the form.

• Click the green Complete Observation button to save and record the daily observation.

Note
The daily observation form is currently not configurable.

Select the arrow on the right-hand side of the daily observation to view the details of the daily observation.

How to Edit or Delete a Daily Observation

• Follow these steps to edit a daily observation:

  • Click the three dots on the right-hand side of the daily observation and choose Edit.

  • Edit the recorded daily observation as needed, and click the green Update Observation button to save your changes.

  

• Follow these steps to delete a daily observation:

  • Click the three dots on the right-hand side of the daily observation and choose Delete.
  • Read the warning and click the red Delete button to completely delete the daily observation.

  

  You can view deleted daily observations from the Show Deleted Daily Observations button.

  You cannot restore daily observations that you delete.
