How to Configure Roles for People Associated with Field Services Cases and Activities

When you associate a person with a Field & Community Services case or activity, you will be prompted to assign a role to this person. You can choose as many roles as you need.

What user permissions do I need to configure my Field Services violation types and results?

  • Field & Community Services access (Shelterluv user permission to access the module)
  • Can edit configuration (Field Services module user permission)

Toggling Roles


We have provided many types of roles to choose from for both cases and activities. Roles can be toggled on/off as needed by clicking the eye show.svg on the right-hand side. This helps streamline your process by only showing the roles that pertain to your organization.
