How to Configure Your Statuses

Shelterluv statuses play a significant role in your account. Statuses determine if your animal is published to your website and aggregators, whether the animal is adoptable, and provides critical insights to you and your team into the animal's current state.

The Statuses section of your account's configurations contains two subsections:

  1. In Foster Statuses
  2. In Shelter Statuses

Click your Username > Configuration > Statuses to get started.

Select the different tabs below to navigate.
  • In foster statuses can only be applied to an animal record that is currently in foster care or is being moved to foster care. If an animal record is located at your location, you cannot apply an in foster status to the animal record.

  • Just like foster statuses, your in shelter statuses will only be available to animal records that are currently in a location within your organization. If an animal record is in foster care, you can only apply an in shelter status to it once it is returned to your organization.
