Shelterluv offers a user-friendly interface for setting up and configuring contracts. Each contract can be customized to meet your organization's specific needs. Currently, Shelterluv supports the following contract types:

• Adoption
• Adoption Return
• Euthanasia
• Owner Surrender
• Return to Owner / Redemption
• Service
• Stray

Click your Username > Configuration > Contracts to get started.

Configuration is only accessible through a desktop or laptop. You cannot access the Configuration section on a mobile device.

Overview

Shelterluv offers several types of contracts that are tied to specific intake/outcome flows. In the Intake Forms and Outcome Forms configuration sections, you can select whether they should be shown or hidden in each intake or outflow flow.

The adoption contract text should use generic language to cover all adoptions of that animal type; you can add adoption disclaimers to individual animals separately.

Note
Remove old contract lines for animal/person information, initials, or signatures, as our digital contracts will automatically load the animal and person information and a signature line at the bottom of the contract. Use the Preview link to check the formatting of your contract text.

How to Configure Your Contracts

Follow the steps below to configure your contracts:

1. From the Contracts configuration section, click Type and choose a contract from the dropdown menu.
2. Add your contract via the text editor. You can also easily copy/paste an existing contract into this editor and adjust it as needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

• At this time, Shelterluv does not support the ability for a staff member to countersign a contract. As a result, Shelterluv can only capture the customer's signature on the contract during the Shelterpay checkout process.

  Note that this feature is documented with our Product Team for consideration in future development.

• Custom contracts are not available in Shelterluv currently. You can see all the available contracts listed in the dropdown menu of your configurations.

• At this time, Shelterluv does not support the ability to initial contracts and can only capture the customer's signature on the contract during the Shelterpay checkout process.
