Shelterluv's menu bar will always be at the top of your screen regardless of which page you navigate to inside your Shelterluv account. The menu bar holds all of your essential functionality and most used tools.

Let's take a look at each piece of the menu bar and how you can use it to increase your team's productivity.

• The Shelterluv Logo

  The Shelterluv logo is your main dashboard button. Regardless of the page you view in your Shelterluv account, clicking the Shelterluv logo will always take you back to your main animal dashboard.

  

• The Search Bar

  Next to the Shelterluv logo, you will find your main search bar. You can search for anything here, such as an animal's name or microchip number or a person's email address or phone number. You can also click the filter icon inside the search bar to refine your query for a more precise search.

• Intake and Outcome Buttons

  To the right of the search bar, we find the intake and outcome buttons. Use these two options to get an intake or outcome processed quickly for one of your animal records.

  Each intake and outcome differs from one another slightly. For specifics on a particular type of intake or outcome, please take a look at the Intakes & Outcomes section.

  

• Tasks

  The Tasks button will take you straight to your Task Manager, where you can quickly get an overview of medical and behavior-related tasks and much more. For a complete, in-depth walkthrough of the Task Manager, please review Task Manager Overview.

  

• Cart

  Your Cart button will navigate you to your Shopping Cart Manager. The Shopping Cart Manager will show you all of your current in-progress transactions that you initiated in your user account. • Help

  The Help button will navigate you away from your Shelterluv account to our Help Center, where you can find many helpful articles and videos, such as this one, and get all your questions answered.

  

• Username

  Clicking your username in the menu bar will open up a dropdown to all your Shelterluv features, such as Record Management and reporting. Note that what you see in your dropdown menu depends on your user permissions. You can find details on what each user permission gives you access to here: User Permissions Overview
