Managing your users is quick and easy to do in Shelterluv. You can add, edit, and remove user accounts via your gear icon > Users as shown below.
There is no limit to the number of user accounts that can be created in your Shelterluv account. Additionally, there is no limit to the number of users who can access your Shelterluv account at one time.
On the Users page, you can create new users by clicking the green "Create User" button as shown below.
Once you select the green "Create User" button, you will be able to add the new user's information as shown below.
Once you have new user's information added, you will be able to assign the appropriate user permissions to the user's account. Click here to read more about what each permission allows.
Once done, select the blue "Create new account" button. Selecting this button will trigger two things:
- The user's account will be created
- The user will receive an email (to the address listed on the new account) with their newly created login information.
Editing a user's information or permissions
To edit a user's existing information or their existing permissions, navigate to your gear icon > Users. Then, select the appropriate user from the user list.
Once you select the appropriate user, you will see two tabs - "View" and "Edit". The "View" tab gives you a basic overview of the user's info and their permissions. The "Edit" tab allows you to edit all the details shown on the "View" tab. Be sure to click "Save" when you finish editing.
The Field & Community Services module
There are separate permissions for users in the Field & Community Services module. Please take a look at this section of the Field Services Guide here: User Permissions & Notifications (once a user has the Field Services Access permission in Shelterluv, then you can give them specific Field Services permissions within the Field & Community Services module).
To remove a user, navigate to your gear icon > Users. Then, select the appropriate user from the user list. Once selected the appropriate user account, select the "Edit" tab. From the "Edit" tab, scroll all the way to the bottom to find the "User status" section. Select the blue "Disable Account" option and then the blue "Save" button. Once saved, this user will no longer be able to sign into their Shelterluv account.
Note that you can always go back to a disabled user account and re-activate the account at any time.
