Releasing (or outcoming) a feral animal, or any other type of wildlife that you've intaked, is quick and easy.
First, navigate to the action button on the header bar (the big "+" sign) and hover over it with your mouse until the intake/outcome options display. Choose the Feral/Wildlife option from the outcome list on the right side of the list.
You'll be taken into a new page where you can select the animals to be released. By default, this page will only display the animals that were feral/wildlife intakes. To show ALL animals in custody, simply uncheck the "Show feral intakes only" box.
This page includes filters for species, status, and location, as well as a search bar where you can search by animal name. These options should help make it much easier and faster to find the animals you're looking to release together.
To select the animals you'd like to release, click the green "Release" button on the right most column. You'll then be asked to choose whether you're releasing to a feral colony or releasing to the wild.
Configuration Note: These options correspond to the default outcome subtypes that are set up in Configuration for feral/wildlife outcomes. You can edit these subtypes or add new subtypes on the Configuration page via General Shelter > Intake and Outcome > Outcome Subtypes > Feral/Wildlife section.
From there, you'll be taken right into a short outcome form for each animal that you've selected to be released. It will ask you for the date/time of the release, the location of the release, and any notes or memos you'd like to add. Clicking the blue "Release" button will complete the release outcome.
