Donations are often the main source of funding for animal shelters and rescues. By giving a donation, you are playing a valuable role in helping animals find loving homes just like yours. Below you will find some frequently asked questions in regard to managing and giving a donation.

How do I make a one-time or monthly donation?

How do I cancel my monthly recurring donation?

To begin, log into your Adopterluv account and then select the "Donations" button from the menu bar. From there, select the "Edit" button next to your monthly donation and then the "Cancel Subscription" button.

Can I update the payment method for my monthly donation?

A.

 

Since the recurring donation is linked directly with the payment you used initially, you will need to first cancel the existing monthly donation as shown above and then set up a new monthly recurring donation with your preferred method of payment.

 

Q.

Will I receive a receipt for my donation(s)?

A.

 

You will receive an emailed receipt with each monthly donation. When you submit your first monthly donation, you will receive a second email, along with the receipt, that allows you to manage or cancel your subscription if your Adopterluv account is not set up.

You will also have access to a list of each donation made and its date from the "Invoices" button in the menu bar of your Adopterluv account.
